The Society for Vascular Ultrasound Announces Its 2023 Board of Directors

The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) is the community of Vascular Lab Professionals leading the way for high quality care of vascular patients. Beginning January 1, 2023, we say goodbye and thank you to three members of the SVU Board of Directors, as well as welcome three new members to our Board of Directors.

“Thank you to Leni Karr, Ajay Zachariah and Jordyn Rife, for your time and commitment to the SVU Board of Directors,” said Anita Harrington, SVU President. “We appreciate your input and guidance to the vascular ultrasound profession.”

As we enter 2023 we welcome the following new Board of Directors:

Melinda Bender will serve a three-year term (2023-2025) as a Technologist Director. Melinda resides in Ohio. She has twenty years of experience working in the profession, taking on leadership rolls within her office.

Abraham Ettaher will serve a three-year term (2023-2025) as a Technologist Director. Abraham resides in Ohio. He has been working in the profession for many years and has experience in running a busy regional vascular lab. He is involved in research studies within the vascular research team.

Jennifer Martin will be serving a one-year term as the SVU Student Director. She currently attends Owens Community College in Ohio.

“We are thrilled to have these three individuals join us on the SVU Board of Directors,” said Anita. “They will bring new ideas to our organization and we are excited to see what can be accomplished over the next 12 months.”

These three board members will join several individuals who are currently serving on the SVU Board of Directors. There are five Officers and eleven Directors.
